SCIENTIST
Lizzie is an Animal Movements PhD Scientist using tag technology to better understand African Elephant behaviour. She is also an Academic Teaching & Outreach Fellow at Swansea University
WILDLIFE HOST / PRESENTER
Lizzie has worked on countless productions for broadcasting and online. Including BBC Earth, CBBC, Cbeebies, National Geographic, Animal Planet 'Solved, Nature's Greatest Mysteries', BBC One Wales Weatherman Walking series 2020 + 2021, BBC Two series Curious Creatures
LIVE BROADCASTING
Lizzie has a real love for live broacasting! She has hosted National Geographic LIVE 'Meet The Expert', BBC Lessons Winterwatch LIVE and BBC Blue Planet LIVE Lessons. Online Lizzie hosted a 14 part series to help raise awareness for Skomer Island during the pandemic which gained over 1/4 million views.
RADIO
In 2020 Lizzie hosted a 4 part BBC Radio Wales Climate Change Series called 'What If?' and also was on a panel for a BBC Radio 4 nature series with Sue Perkins.
ADVENTURER
Lizzie has a real love for adventure and inspiring other women in the wildlife adventure space. She ran 200 miles across Portugal in 10 days solo, 72 miles across Brecon solo and lead a group of students on an field research expedition to Danum Valley in Borneo in 2019. Lizzie is planning an upcoming expedition in 2021.
